After twenty-four years, there was a change in the presidency of the Raincross Quilt Guild on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. We said farewell to Jeri Read and her Board, and welcomed Barbara Mathews and her Board in a ceremony held at the Janet Goeske Center, in Riverside, California.

Debbie Warner was in charge of the Installation Ceremony, and she designed a ceremony where each member of the new board would place a block, which when completed, made a Friendship Star.
Our newly elected board members:

- Maria Copak, President-Elect
- Fern Fujimoto, Vice President (she was absent, but had a stand-in)
- Barbara Kaiser, Secretary
- Vangie Gorman, Treasurer

We all gave Jeri some gifts: a stack of blue and white blocks with personal notes, a fat-quarter stack, engraved scissors and clapper.
And we had Show and Share!

It was a memorable night, and we thank you all for coming!
And on the way out, as only Southern Californians can experience, we had a Starlink launch (SpaceX Falcon 9, to be exact) which decorated our night sky as we all left.
