Activities and Retreats

This page will have information about all our Guild’s upcoming outside activities, such as retreats, field trips, bus trips, sew days and whatever else we dream up. Beginning late 2024, we’ll post photos of our activities when they are sent to us, and they will show up on Archive of Posts (tab is in header menu).

Fourth Saturday Sew Day

Fourth Saturday Sew Day is held on the fourth Saturday of every month from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm (or whenever?) at the Victoria Village Condos Activity Room, 2828 Monroe St, Riverside, CA 92504. Located between Lincoln and Victoria/Monroe and Irving. Bring your own lunch.
The room is in the middle of the complex and has a full kitchen and bathrooms. Bring an extra light for your sewing space. Please respond to the text from Pam Waters, so she will know how many tables to set up.

First Wednesday NIGHT – ZOOM Sew Group

Join in with some of the Guild Members on the first Wednesday of every month for a sew night. It begins at 6:30 p.m. and is now on Zoom. Everyone is invited; the code is listed in the Members Only tab. We sew a little, visit, and laugh a lot!  Hope to see you there. The Zoom link and codes are in the Members Only section of our website. Cassandra Gray is the contact if you want more information.

QOV First Wednesday Sew

QOV (Quilts of Valor) is a long-established community project at Raincross Quilt Guild, serving the Veteran Community.

Meeting at the Goeske center (same room as Guild Meeting) at 4 pm and working as a team to complete projects for QOV until we leave at 6:30pm. Everyone is welcome, stay and enjoy talking, laughing and generally having fun with friends! If you can’t stay, that’s okay! If you stop by to pick up a project to work on at home, that’s okay.
