These documents are the proposed changes to the existing bylaws and standing rules. They are drafts to be reviewed by membership and voted on at the June meeting.
Once approved, the documents will show they are amended from the original ones from October 2023 (see first page of each document).Raincross Quilt Guild has both Bylaws and Standing Rules, which were passed in October 2023.
As an analogy, the Bylaws are like the framing timbers of a house, detailing structure. The Standing Rules are like the carpets, wall coverings, draperies, and so forth, bringing the home to life. (Thanks to our member Charlotte Byrne for this idea.)
