Bring to the November Guild meeting,

Our What’s in my Stash project is due in January.

I’m so excited about doing an Opportunity Quilt! Jeri and her committee have some great ideas! I can’t emphasize enough how important it is for everyone to participate in selling tickets. 40 per person is the number we landed on in order to have enough left over after expenses to make it worthwhile. Everyone just do the best you can!

Meanwhile, enjoy this beautiful Fall weather and get those UFO’s finished that have been lurking in the shadows! LOL! I know I have a never-ending supply of them!

Keep your stiches straight and your bobbin full!

Barbara

The Batty Lady brought examples of batting. She talked about various materials, weights, colors and treatments.

Our ever popular every-meeting potlucks have returned.

November’s potluck will be provided by members with birthdays in January and February.

Upcoming National QOV Sew Day February 7, 2026.

Jeri Read is chairing our Opportunity quilt project.

She listed her eager committee members and asked for everyone to gear up for selling tickets.

It’s a complex project and much work has to be done before it can even be started, so it will probably be a 2026 opportunity quilt with the final raffle held in 2027.

Survivor bags are always appreciated and will earn you an extra ticket for the door prizes.

Our members are so creative and productive. Thank you to everyone who brought a project or two to share. Our meeting ran long, so we had to move quickly through this. Much love to everyone who participated.
