Well, quilting peeps, it’s another workshop, retreat, BOM, and challenge down in the books! It’s been a busy month for our Guild and we have plans to continue offering more fun things to do! A new Challenge was issued Tuesday night as well as the next BOM – sure am glad I got all caught up at the Vina retreat on the previous 4 blocks! Whew!!
Speaking of challenges – we’re looking for some new blood and new ideas from our membership. Most of the Board has held their position for the maximum time allowed by our Standing Rules, and elections will be here before you know it! Any Board member or Chairperson would be happy to share what’s involved in their position – just ask (no obligation). Our amazing Guild exists only because of our talented and wonderful members and the volunteers that hold it all together. Please consider being part of the team.
Don’t forget to talk nice to your machine and clean her often! She’ll thank you for it! Try to sew a few seams every day, and before you know it, you’ll have a quilt! Yay!!
See you all next month.
Barbara

We donate non-perishable food items to the Janet Goeske Senior Center Food Pantry at each monthly Guild meeting,
Remember, donation(s) will earn you an extra ticket to our door prize drawing.

Next Guild meeting’s potluck will be provided by members with last names beginning with N, O and P.
